Grandstand Design Features:

•           Total bleacher seating capacity: 4,334
•           13 row mitered I-beam bleacher
•           Slip resistant welded decking
•           Powder coated steel vertical picket guardrail system
•           Powder coated structural steel
•           Anodized bench seating and risers

Turchin Stadium, home of one of the nation’s premier baseball programs, was ravaged by flood waters and wind from Hurricane Katrina.  Dant Clayton worked closely with the Project Architect and the General Contractor to design and build a new stadium that would house Tulane University’s baseball team.  Persistent heavy rain shut down the project site for extended periods of time, as equipment could not operate on such poor soil.  However, the stadium re-opened in time for the 2008 season, and a sell-out crowd enjoyed the new Green Wave facilities, as well as a victory.
