Grandstand Design Features:
• Total bleacher seating capacity: 4,150
• Center VIP section with bleacher chair and aluminum seating with backrests
• Front walkway elevated 84”
• Powder coated steel vertical picket guardrail system
• Slip resistant aluminum welded deck walking surface
A significant amount of steel design coordination between Dant Clayton, the architectural firm and the university facility director was required due to the grandstand’s structural steel columns connecting to the steel structure of the buildings below. One of the major reasons Dant Clayton was selected as the bleacher manufacturer was our past history of successful installations, including complex steel design issues, at colleges and universities. The net result is the seamless transition of steel columns from the grandstand to the buildings.
