Grandstand Design Features:
• Total bleacher seating capacity: 2,956
• Handicap seating located at the front of the bleacher walkway
• Powder coated structural steel understructure
• Powder coated aluminum closure system at front and sides of grandstand
The lower portion of the stadium seating was constructed on an existing slope with a concrete retaining wall in front and a concrete walkway behind. The upper portion of the grandstand ties in with the concrete walkway and is accessed by a series of stair systems. This project required a considerable amount of design coordination between Dant Clayton, the architect and the general contractor due to buildings under the bleachers. This is just another example of the importance of Dant Clayton’s pre-construction services and our ability to successfully coordinate a complex major grandstand project.
