Grandstand Design Features:
• Total bleacher seating capacity: 5,300
• Slip resistant aluminum welded deck walking surface
• Powder coated structural steel understructure
• Four double wide entry/exit locations through the bleachers
• Poly-Panel skirting on the front of the bleachers
• Multiple landing stair towers to the custom built press box
Ben Davis High School, with one of the more storied football programs in Indiana, selected Dant Clayton as the bleacher manufacturer to construct their magnificent 33 row x 324’ long bleacher system. A challenging design issue involved the two 8 landing stair towers to the custom built press box and the structural steel to support the multi-level edifice. There were also numerous coordination efforts concerning the installation of the stair towers in conjunction with the on-site construction of the custom press box. All design and coordination issues were managed seamlessly and the grandstands and press box will be a source of school and community pride for years to come.
