Grandstand Design Features:
• Total bleacher seating capacity: 2,170
• Addition to an existing bleacher system
• Slip resistant aluminum welded deck walking surface
• Center VIP section with bleacher chair seating
• 14’ x 66’ two story press box with an elevator
Dant Clayton provided all of the design and engineering associated with this grandstand project as no architect was involved. The challenge was to design this massive addition around an existing grandstand that was installed by a different bleacher manufacturer. Another design and engineering issue involved supporting the two story press box which included an elevator. The depth and experience of Dant Clayton’s project team helped to produce a finished product that was virtually seamless with the existing bleacher system.
