Bruce Merrick, Chairman
Bruce Merrick is the Chairman of Dant Clayton
Corp. Bruce and his father, Ken Merrick founded Dant Clayton Corp.
in 1979. Bruce served as CEO from 1979 until 2002. In 2002, Bruce’s
position transitioned to Chairman and Greg Fischer (see below) was
hired to take the role of the CEO. Through his many years of service
at Dant Clayton Corp., Bruce has been instrumental in leading the
organization to be recognized as the leader of the spectator seating
industry. Bruce currently serves on several boards including D.D.
Williamson, the global manufacturer of caramel coloring; Western
Kentucky University’s Board of Advisors, Kentucky Center for the
Arts and has served as President of Actors Theater of Louisville;
and Chairman of Custom Quality Services, a Metro United Way Agency;
and has served on the board of the YMCA. In addition to his professional
and philanthropic duties, Bruce was recognized as Entrepreneur of
the Year for 2000, in the Manufacturing Division of Kentucky and
Southern Indiana by Ernst and Young.

Greg Fischer, Chief Executive Officer
Greg Fischer is CEO of the Dant Clayton Corporation
and also serves as Chairman of bCatalyst, a corporate finance advisory
firm. Greg co-founded and served as President of SerVend International,
a global manufacturing company with 300 employees. In 1997, Greg
led the sale of SerVend to The Manitowoc Company, a New York Stock
Exchange firm. During his tenure, SerVend was nationally recognized
as a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award finalist for its focus
on quality management and best practice business systems. Greg was
selected as one of Inc. magazine’s 1990 Entrepreneurs of the Year.
He serves on numerous boards and is a counselor for the Boston-based
Center for Quality of Management. |
