Grandstand Design Features:

 

•           Total bleacher seating capacity:  2,100
•           Black powder coated structural steel
•           Individual bleacher chair seating in the top rows
•           Two double wide vomitories (entry/egress)
•           8’ x 54’ dual-sided press box (shared with softball field)

The primary design issue surrounding this bleacher project involved the co-design of the adjacent women’s softball grandstands. Both venues were to share the utilization of the dual-sided press box. Great care was taken by the Dant Clayton project team to ensure that both the soccer facility and the softball facility were not only provided with grandstand seating systems that met the university’s requirements, but also provided both venues access to the shared press box. The completed project included excellent spectator seating, and also highlighted the commitment to design excellence by the Dant Clayton team.
