Grandstand Design Features:
• Total bleacher seating capacity: 7,130
• 13 row mitered I-beam bleacher
• Powder coated seats, risers, and backrests
• Benches on concrete
• 12/33 rise run
WakeMed Soccer Park (formerly SAS Soccer Park) was built with a number of unique obstacles to overcome. Due to the construction of buildings on each side of the field, this project utilized most of Dant Clayton’s varied products. Permanent I-beam bleacher systems with powder coated steel understructures were married to concrete structures. The concrete structures employed our Colosseum One and Colosseum Two chairs. The grandstands also employed these products, as well as aluminum seats. The end zone consisted of a large Alum-A-Stand bleacher with aluminum bench seating. WakeMed Soccer Park is home to the Carolina RailHawks and the Cary Clarets. The stadium also plays host to notable tournaments such as the NCAA College Cup and the ACC Soccer Championships.
