Dant Clayton recently held a company-wide drawing where seven employees won a weekend trip to Boca Raton, Florida to attend the first football game played at the brand new FAU stadium.  The match-up took place last Saturday, October 15th, when the Florida Atlantic University Owls took on the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers.  29,103 people were in attendance for the inaugural event, making it the largest home crowd in FAU’s football history.

There were numerous pre-game festivities to celebrate the opening of the stadium, one of which featured an American flag covering the entire football field.  Dant Clayton employees who witnessed the game described the atmosphere in the new 30,000 seat football stadium as exciting and electric, complete with an exceptional amount of team spirit showcased by FAU students and fans.

In the end, WKU walked away with the victory, defeating FAU 20-0.  However, the Owls remain optimistic as they prepare for their next match-up versus Middle Tennessee, which will take place in the new stadium on October 22nd.
