The first delivery of Dant Clayton’s structural steel for the expansion of Saputo Stadium arrived on site last week in Montreal, Quebec.  Construction crews are eager to commence steel erection on the soon-to-be expanded home of the Montreal Impact.

The Impact, Major League Soccer’s newest member, has engaged us to provide design services and materials to connect two existing grandstand structures, and also add an additional grandstand structure to the north and south ends of the stadium.  We will be providing the Powder Coated structural steel understructure, as well as our Vertical Picket Rail system.  The expanded stadium will also consist of Dant Clayton aluminum products featuring our Slip Resistant Welded Deck system and Powder Coated risers.  The total stadium capacity will increase from 13,000 to over 20,000 upon completion of the expansion.

Stay tuned for additional updates in the coming weeks as we track the progress of construction on Major League Soccer’s newest franchise.  Additional information about Montreal Impact and the history of the club can be found at www.impactmontreal.com.
