Dant Clayton employees opened their hearts, their pantries, and their wallets last month for the company's 2nd annual food drive benefitting Louisville's own Dare to Care Food Bank. Donation boxes were placed throughout the main office and two manufacturing plants during the entire month of August for those who wished to contribute to the drive. Twenty boxes were filled by Dant workers with various food items, such as cereal, soups, peanut butter, canned vegetables, and pasta. Employees also donated nearly $1,000 to help the local food bank fight hunger needs across 13 counties.
Dare to Care Food Bank is an independent, nonprofit Kentucky corporation that provides food for the hungry in the community.
